Deleting a database type

This procedure describes how to delete a database type.

To delete a database type:

  1. From Control-M Configuration Manager, select Control-M for Databases on the host that you want to manage, and right-click Connection Profile Management.

    The Control-M for Database -Connection Profile Management dialog box appears.

  2. In the upper right-hand corner, click CM_DB_DATABASE_TYPE_MANAGER.

    The Database Types Manager window appears.

  3. Select the database you want to delete.

    You can only delete the new databases you added, you cannot delete an Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, Sybase and PostgreSQL database.

  4. Click .

    A confirmation message appears. If you delete the database, the connection profiles using that database are deleted.

  5. Click Yes.

    The database is deleted.
