Running an MSSQL Agent job

This procedure describes how to run an MSSQL Agent job, which is defined in the SQL server and managed by Control-M.

Before You Begin

Verify that you have met the following requirements:

To run an MSSQL Agent job:

  1. From the Connection Profile field, click Load-AFT.

    The Selector dialog box appears.

  2. Select the connection profile that you want to load and click OK.
  3. From the Execution Type drop-down list, select MSSQL Agent Job.
  4. From the Job Name field, click Load-AFT.

    The Selector dialog box appears.

  5. Click OK.

    The Job Name and Category fields are populated.

  6. Click Databases - More.
  7. If you want to see the log in the output, select Append execution log to Job Output, which shows the Environment information, Request statement, and Job statistics in the Output.
