Before you can define a Control-M for AWS job in Control-M, you need to create a connection profile in the Control-M Configuration Manager, which enables you to connect to the required AWS server.
A connection profile contains the connection parameters to a specified AWS server, such as Subscription ID. By adding a connection profile to the Control-M Configuration Manager, you enable Control-M for AWS users to connect to the required AWS server with only the connection profile name.
Users then can run a job without having to provide authentication details every time they connect to the AWS server.
