Testing a connection profile

This procedure describes how to test a connection profile in the Control-M Configuration Manager to validate the connection parameters.

To test a connection profile:

1. From Control-M Configuration Manager, select Control-M for AWS, right click and select Connection Profile Management.

   The Control-M for AWS - Connection Profile Management dialog box appears.

2. Select the connection profile that you want to test, and click .

   If the test completes successfully, the connection profile validates and you can now define a AWS job, as described in Defining a Control-M for AWS job. If the test fails, review the error message(s), fix any problems as necessary, and test it again.
