Enabling Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite job parameters for version 6.4.01 and below

When upgrading to Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite version 9.0.01 from previous versions, some job parameters may not be passed to the Oracle-E-Business Server. If so, you need to add the ENABLE_OLD_FORMS_PARAM. This procedure describes how to enable Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite job parameters when upgrading to version 9.0.01 from 6.4.01 and below.

To enable Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite job parameters for version 6.4.01 and below:

1. Do one of the following:
   • UNIX: Do the following:
     1. Open the <agent_home_dir>/ctm/data/OEBS.dat file.
     2. Create ENABLE_OLD_FORMS_PARAM variable.
   • Windows: Do the following:
     1. Open the Windows registry and navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BMC Software\CONTROL-M/AGENT\OEBS directory.
     2. In the OEBS directory, right click, highlight New and then select String Value.
     3. Change the name to ENABLE_OLD_FORMS_PARAM.
