Event Watcher definition

You can define the alerts that you want the Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite utility to watch for to trigger a job to run, or a condition to be raised or deleted.

There are two types of alerts that can be monitored:

• Periodic alerts
• Event alerts

The Event Watcher can only monitor alerts that have been kept in the Oracle Alert History of your Oracle E-Business Suite system by specifying the value of the Keep_Days field in the Oracle alert. The following procedures describe how to define, update, delete, copy, and move alerts from the Event Watcher Manager:
