Retaining comments in an SQL Script and Embedded Query

This procedure describes how to retain comments in an SQL Script and Embedded Query.

To retain comments:

1. Navigate to the following directory:

   <Control-M Agent_Home_Dir>\<Instance Name>\CM\DB\data

2. Open CTMDB_config
3. Set the following parameters to true:
   • useOracleHints
   • keepComments

   The comments are retained.
