Job definition

A Control-M for AWS is an application plug-in that connects to an SAP server which enables you to define and monitor SAP jobs. You can define these jobs in the Job Properties Pane in Control-M.

Control-M for AWS consists of the following three job types:

• SAP R3. For more information, see: Defining a Control-M for AWS job.
• SAP Business Warehouse. For more information, see: SAP Business Warehouse job definition.
• SAP Data Archiving. For more information, see: SAP Data Archiving job definition.

Control-M for SAP jobs are integrated with other Control-M jobs into a single scheduling environment. Control-M capabilities are available for Control-M for AWS, including advanced scheduling criteria, complex dependencies, quantitative and control resources, and variables.
